History De Rooy Media
It started as a hobby. In my spare time I practiced a lot of camera skills and spent many many times in my edit ‘suite’.

After my graduation at Haarlem Hogeschool I’ve worked as a producer for different productions like Life & Cooking (RTL 4/Endemol), Char (RTL4/Endemol), Baby Borrowers (BNN/Endemol), Hollands Got Talent (SBS6/Blue Circle) and America’s Next Top Model season 11.

Project coordinator at MyVideo.nl (SBS Interactive) was the next step. Besides managing online commercial projects for Universal, Walibi World and Beau Monde, I got the opportunity to film & edit for MyVideo. After a good conversation in 2009 with my friend Jeroen van Vilsteren (thanks coach!) I’ve started De Rooy Media.

Next to the activities for De Rooy Media I work part-time for W24.nl (Teleac/VPRO) as a cameraman/editor (Final Cut Pro).

What can I expect from De Rooy Media?
De Rooy Media is specialized in shooting/editing online content for websites & broadcasters. The variety is broad; from educational science updates to luxury HD superyacht videos. Because no project is the same, please contact me for more information.
